OK, I just got back from another Gourmet trip and flew the Eden 3, Velvet, and Spice side by side. I'm going to write up a more detailed article about the Velvet, but for now, the main idea to understand is that the Velvet falls between the Eden 3 and the Spice in terms of performance and handling, but there is no sacrifice in safety. The other difference is that the Velvet is not quite as easy to launch as the Eden 3, but this difference is small and shouldn't be an issue for experienced pilots. And when you are choosing a size, choose small because the Velvet is very very efficient and you want to load it up. Call me if you aren't sure what size to get. More pictures coming.
